What if the employee doesn’t allow location permission to the time clock app?

The impact of an employee not allowing location permission depends on your company’s settings within TimeTrakGO. TimeTrakGO offers an optional setting to enforce GPS.

• If your company has enabled the “Enforce GPS” setting: The employee will not be able to clock in or out using the TimeTrakGO app unless they grant the app permission to access their device’s exact location. The app requires this information to verify their work location at the time of clocking in and out.
• If your company has disabled the “Enforce GPS” setting: The TimeTrakGO app will accept an employee’s clock in and clock out punches even if they do not grant location permission. However, your company may not have location data associated with their punches in this scenario.
